For Smart Transport and Mobility, applicants need either a recognised four-year bachelor degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.00 on QUT's 7-point scale, or a recognised three-year relevant bachelor degree plus at least two years of full-time-equivalent professional transport-engineering experience. Relevant backgrounds include civil, electrical, environmental and mechanical engineering, environmental science, mathematics, physics, transport engineering and urban or regional planning. For Water Engineering, the same degree-length and GPA pathways apply; the experience pathway requires at least two years in water engineering or modelling. Relevant backgrounds include biological science, chemical, civil, environmental, mechanical, municipal and process engineering, chemistry, environmental science, hydrology, mathematics, physics and urban or regional planning. IELTS Academic or IELTS One Skill Retake: overall 6.5, with 6.0 in listening, reading, writing and speaking. English test results must normally be no more than two years old at course commencement.
