Master of Social Work - Qualifying

Applicants need a completed recognised bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 4.00 on QUT's 7-point scale that includes the equivalent of at least one year of full-time social-science study, such as society, human development, education, human services, law, media and communication, nursing, psychology, sociology, or urban and regional planning. The course is not generally designed for applicants who already hold an equivalent social-work bachelor degree, although overseas-qualified social workers may be considered after advice from the Australian Association of Social Workers. IELTS Academic: overall 7.0 with no component below 7.0; the test must be completed within two years before the proposed start month.
