Master of Science (By Research)

Academic requirements: Bachelor Degree in related field:; A bachelor’s degree in engineering / engineering technology or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent; A bachelor’s degree in engineering / engineering technology or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or; A bachelor’s degree in engineering / engineering technology or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.; Candidates without a qualification in the engineering / engineering technology or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii).; Note:; Degree holders of Bachelor of Science or Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with CGPA above 2.75 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.; English requirements: Local Student :; Band 5 in MUET; International Student :; Band 6.0 in IELTS; or a min score of 60 (IBT) or 8.5 (Essentials-Online) in TOEFL; or Cambridge English (169); or PTE Academic (59) Notes: If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at UOW Malaysia. Fee basis: estimated international total fee RM55,200. The annual figure is an average over the published full-time duration. EMGS and SST are excluded where stated.
