Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Hons) in Shariah

International applicants must complete at least 12 years of primary and secondary education and hold a recognised high-school qualification or equivalent. They must also meet the programme grades, subject prerequisites and any faculty-specific conditions. Where applicable, the published qualification references include A level CCC or 96 UCAS Tariff points, and an IB score of 25 with at least grade 3 in two Higher Level subjects; final assessment depends on the qualification and programme. Islamic-studies programmes may require Arabic and specified subjects in Sharia, theology or related religious studies. Applicants must also meet the English standard set by the faculty or programme. Some programmes require a UKM interview. Fees and duration: international full-time programme, 8 semesters (approximately 4 years). Programme tuition is RM58,900 before tax, or a budget of RM62,434 including the 6% service tax effective from Semester 1, 2026/27. The annual display of RM15,608.5 is averaged over 4 years, not a fixed annual invoice. Registration of RM2,520, visa, personal bond, accommodation and other applicable charges are additional. The university invoice determines payment.
