Master of Data Science

Academic entry: a computing bachelor degree with CGPA 2.75; CGPA 2.50 to below 2.75 requires internal assessment, and below 2.50 requires five years of computing experience. Other disciplines require CGPA 2.75, five years of computing experience and prerequisites; equivalent qualifications need Senate approval. English: IELTS 5.5; accepted TOEFL, MUET Band 3 or CEFR B2 are alternatives. International students take two Malay courses (4 credits), unless exempted. Duration: full time 1-2 years; part time 2-4 years. Intakes: February and September. International programme fee: RM32,000, paid in instalments of RM12,000, RM10,000 and RM10,000. Budget RM33,920 with the 6% service tax from Semester 1, 2026/27. The annual display assumes completion in the minimum one year; this total is not payable every year. Final tax and other charges follow the university invoice.
