Entry Requirements Academic Requirements; A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate; OR Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate.; OR Candidates with at least CGPA of 3.67 at Bachelor’s Degree level may apply to convert their candidacy to the PhD programmes subject to:; having shown competency and capability in conducting research at PhD level; rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP; approval by the HEP’s Senate; English Language Requirements; For International Students; As the programme’s medium of instruction is English, students must possess one of the following qualifications:; IELTS Academic; 5.0; TOEFL; 34; Pearson Test of English; 36; Cambridge English Qualification and Tests (CAE); 160; Cambridge English Qualification and Tests (CPE); 180; MUET; Band 3; Note: Candidates who fail to fulfil the above criteria may be required to take an English Proficiency Course at the University.
