Entry Requirements Academic Requirements; Minimum age to enroll in a nursing programme is eighteen (18) years old.; ; For Malaysian Candidates; Either one (1) of the following below:; a) Possess SPM/*SVM or **equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits: Credit in Bahasa Melayu / *Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, and; Credit/Grade C in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern), and; Credit/Grade C in Science (General Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science/Additional Science), and; Credit in any two (2) other subjects, and; Minimum Pass in English; ; b) Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) minimum Maqbul (refer to Appendix 3, Malaysia Nursing Board and Malaysia Midwives Board, Standard Criteria for Accreditation of Nursing Programmes 2025); c) Community Nurse Certificate; registered with MNB; possess current PC/RON for nurses from MNB; minimum thirty-six (36) months clinical working experience.; d) Assistant nurse, possess SPM, registered with MNB, possess current PC/RON for nurses from MNB, minimum thirty-six (36) months clinical working experience.; For International Candidates; Either one (1) of the following:; a) Possess SPM or **equivalent with five (5) credits (minimum Grade C): IGCSE / “O” Level; Credit in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern), and; Credit in Science (General Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science/Additional Science), and; Credit in any three (3) other subjects; For International Candidates:; Attain proficiency in English language with any one (1) of the following exam results:; MUET; Band 3; IELTS Academic; Band 5.5; TOEFL; 453 (PBT) / 133 (CBT) / 46 (iBT); ; TOEFL Essentials (Online); 8; Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic/PTE Online); 51; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: A2 Key (KET); 160; ; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: B1 Preliminary (PET); 160; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: B2 First (FCE); 160; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: C1 Advanced (CAE); 160; ; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: C2 Proficiency (CPE); 160; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: Linguaskill; 160; Cambridge Occupational English Test (OET) (Conventional/Online); 200; ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP Level); 108; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; Courses Offered Year 1; Therapeutic Communication and Basic Counselling; Basic Anatomy and Physiology I & II; Introduction to Professional Nursing; Basic Microbiology in Nursing; Fundamentals of Nursing I & II; Fundamentals Clinical Pract Fee note: UCSI University official programme page lists approximate international student total fee RM86,818; backend annual fee is annualised over the published duration (3 Years / 6 semesters of Full-time study (26 weeks per semester, no short semester)).
