Master of Education

The active EU74 Master of Education offers majors in Educational Leadership, Inclusive Education, Indigenous Australian Education for Teachers, Leading Early Childhood Education, Pacific Studies, STEM in Education, TESOL and Trauma-Aware Education, as well as a no-major choice-of-units pathway. The 1.5-year program requires a completed recognised bachelor degree or higher qualification in any discipline. The one-year advanced-entry pathway requires one of: a recognised honours bachelor degree in teaching or education; a bachelor degree plus a graduate certificate in teaching or education; a graduate diploma or higher qualification in teaching or education; a bachelor degree in teaching or education plus at least two years of full-time-equivalent professional work involving learning, training, teaching, tutoring or an educational setting; or QUT's Graduate Certificate in Education. This degree does not lead to initial teacher registration. IELTS Academic or One Skill Retake: overall 6.5, with at least 6.0 in listening, reading, writing and speaking. English tests must normally be no more than two years old at course commencement.
